    Calabaza Sailing Cruises

    5 hr - Je 5-uur durende tour vertrekt om 9.00 uur vanuit de haven, dus zorg ervoor dat je 15 minuten voor vertrek aan boord van de boot bent, of als je het hotel wilt ophalen, neem dan contact op met de aanbieder om de ophaalservice en de tijd die zal beginnen opnieuw te bevestigen 60 minuten voordat de boot vertrekt. Tijdens de tour zullen we twee snorkelstops hebben; één bij de schildpadden en één bij een rif of scheepswrak!

A great day on the water

To start off our wonderful day, our cab showed up promptly, and we were on our way. Greeted on board with coffee, tea, quiche and banana bread. Open bar all day with a good assortment from which to choose. Our first snorkel stop was with the turtles in Carlisle Bay, which was great. Although September is mating season so they weren't as abundant as at other times of year, I was thrilled to see what we saw! Then we snorkeled a shipwreck with lots of fish. Fins were given out for the second stop but not the first. The captain had a great playlist when we hit a small shower, and then when the sun came out again. He was also adept at steering with his feet, lol. After snorkeling we sailed along the west coast where we were also served fish cakes and hummus with crackers before lunch. We eventually moored by Heron Bay where lunch was served. Food was local, abundant and varied: bbq chicken, flying fish, lasagna, salads, rice and peas. After lunch we had a float in the calm sea with drinks in hand. And when it was time to sail back to the Marina, dessert was provided. All in all it was a great day and we left very satisfied.

Highlight of our holiday!

This catamaran cruise was the highlight of our holiday in Barbados. We had the best day, snorkelling with green turtles and so many fish, drinking rum punch, chatting to the friendly and knowledgeable crew and eating delicious food on board. Chad and his team made sure we stopped in some lovely places, steering us away from the looming grey clouds and kept everyone on board happy. Thankyou for a great day, I would book this again in an instant!

Amazing!!

I can't say enough about the snagging experience we had in this tour. We are a group of 5 friends celebrating birthdays. The boat is beautiful, loads of thoughtful amenities, exciting excursions, delicious meals and drinks, and a first class crew. Lee and Romell were attentive and a pleasure to spend a day with. Highly recommend this phenomenal tour.

Absolutely the best!!

Absolutely top notch. We did the tour that included snorkeling with the turtles and shipwrecks and had a wonderful time. The boat is beautiful. The staff are over and above friendly, attentive, courteous and informative. This tour was the highlight of our trip. I wish we had more days to spend in Barbados and we would have booked the sunset cruise. Picked up from our apartment and dropped back off without a problem. You will not be disappointed booking any of the cruises with Calabaza. Enjoy.

Best Catamaran trip by far

Can't recommend Calabaza highly enough. Never before have i had a panic attack about getting on a boat before, I blame the old lady hormones !! but Chad and his crew were amazing, helped me on board even after I said I'd wait for hubby on the Dock after a mini break down, and how glad am I that they did, they were amazing and so patient with me. The trip was amazing, much more personal than some of the party boats we passed. The drinks never stopped flowing, the food was amazing and all 3 crew were so knowledgeable, even down to assisting another catamaran that had issues weighing their anchor. If you are looking for a fun but personal catamaran trip this should be your first choice.

Superb!

We had absolutely the best day on board the Calabaza! The boat itself was fantastic, and the crew were so friendly, funny and enthusiastic throughout the entire trip. There was great food served on board along with whatever drinks you would like. We snorkelled with turtles, rays and along shipwrecks as well as sailing up the West coast of Barbados. Fantastic from start to finish. Cannot recommend enough!
